NextBRT is designed to collect as little as possible.
Passengers: browsing, searching and the live board need no account and send nothing about you. "Use my location" is calculated on your device only — your position never leaves it.
If you set alerts or save routes, we store just those records (route, stop, lead time) so they can fire while the app is closed.
"Share anonymous trip data" is off by default. When it is on, we record which routes and stops are viewed — never who you are. No name, no email, no location.
Drivers: location is shared only while a trip is running and only with explicit, versioned consent. Trips are deleted 24 hours after they end; GPS history is retained 90 days; notifications 30 days.
You can delete everything we hold about you with "Delete my data" in your profile.
This page is a draft for lawyer review.
